Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Director
responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable Department.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee collection reports and evaluate collection policies and
procedures
Train and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations, and
maintain adequate staffing levels
Interface with payers to resolve claims issues and monitor aged
accounts
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,
or related field
Ten years of Accounts Receivable and Collections experience in a
healthcare environment
Five years of supervisory experience required
Strong working knowledge of Collection Policies and Procedures
In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care
contracts
